Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv : One of my all time favorite books highlighting the importance and benefits children receive from spending time outdoors

"Lively Minds" by Lillian G. Katz, Phd : a great, quick read by Dr. Lillian Katz whom I had the pleasure of meeting a few years back, highlighting distinction between academic and intellectual goals for young children.

"Understanding Schema Play" - An easy to read article explaining Schema Play and why it's important for young children to engage in this way!
